Camera Shot types

This is a wide shot WS, the subject takes up the full frame.

The ECU (also known as XCU) gets right in and shows extreme detail.
 It is too close to show general reactions or emotion except in very dramatic scenes,  also can show other images and relfections which would show the meaning of the extreame close up.

This shows a scene from directly overhead, a very unnatural and strange angle. This show is mostly when looking down at a group of people, it can make people look insignificant.

In a close up CU shot the backround is shown very little, it is normally concentrated on a face and everything is blur around the picture and in the backround.
